Terms And Conditions

    Use of Space

Anchorspace Potsdam is only intended for business purposes. Users are not allowed to use the space for any illegal or unauthorized activities or to store hazardous or flammable materials. We reserve the right to deny access to any user for any reason. Anchorspace members are not permitted to sublease space to others. Doing so will result in immediate termination of membership without a refund.

    Access

Membership is only for registered members. Members are not allowed to share their access credentials (such as keys, keycodes, passwords, etc.) with anyone else. Any additional individuals needing access to the space must receive prior approval from management. Unauthorized sharing of access may lead to immediate termination of membership.

    Conference Room and Phone Booth

When the conference room is not reserved by paid or previously arranged bookings, it is available for use by all members on a first-come, first-served basis, as is the phone booth. Both the conference room and phone booth are shared resources intended for the benefit of all members.

Please be considerate of others by checking the space calendar before entering and avoid monopolizing the space for extended periods. When you’re done, please ensure that both spaces are left in the same condition as you found them. This means disposing of any trash, returning furniture to its original arrangement, wiping surfaces if needed, and ensuring all equipment is turned off after use.

    Office Rental

Members reserving the office for a week or longer will receive a key, which must be returned upon the conclusion of their membership. Any changes to the space require prior authorization. Management will give a 24-hour notice if access to the office is needed, except for emergencies such as fire or flooding, where immediate access is necessary.

    Noise Levels

As a community-focused coworking space, we value a conducive environment for work and collaboration. Please keep noise levels in shared areas, including the conference room, at a considerate volume. Be mindful of the impact of noise on others’ concentration and productivity. If your activities require discussions or presentations with elevated noise levels, consider booking the conference room (available as part of your membership) to minimize disruptions to fellow members.

    After-Hours Access

Night and weekend access is only permitted for Anchorspace Potsdam members. After-hours access is for business purposes, and utilizing the premises for overnight stays is strictly prohibited. Any unauthorized overnight stays for personal reasons are grounds for immediate termination of membership without refund. The last person out of the space should ensure the space is locked on their way out. If you are issued keys, you must return them after your membership is over. If not, you will be charged a $25 rekey fee.

    Use of Equipment

Users may utilize the equipment provided by Anchorspace Potsdam at their own risk. Equipment may include charging cables, keyboards, monitors, and other supplementary gear for comfortable working. Anchorspace Potsdam is not liable for any damage or loss of data resulting from the use of the provided equipment. Users are responsible for any damage caused to the equipment.

    Fees and Payment

Fees are non-refundable and must be paid in advance of use. Payment must be made online via credit card, PayPal, Venmo, or bank transfer. Anchorspace Potsdam reserves the right to change fees at any time and will give members 30 days’ notice before any increase or change of fees.

    Conduct

Users of Anchorspace Potsdam are expected to behave professionally and courteously. Disruptive, offensive, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove any user for inappropriate behavior. Anchorspace Potsdam is a safe space for all people.

    Cleanliness

Members are responsible for keeping their workspace clean and tidy. Please dispose of trash appropriately and respect communal areas. Please notify management if you notice any issues that require attention.

    Security

Users are responsible for their own security and the security of their belongings. Anchorspace Potsdam is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property. Users are responsible for securing their own equipment and data. Cameras on-premise do not store audio or video data long-term.

    Insurance

Users are responsible for their own insurance coverage. Anchorspace Potsdam does not provide insurance coverage for any user or their property but does have insurance for the space itself.

    Termination

Anchorspace Potsdam reserves the right to terminate a user’s access to the space at any time for any reason. Users who violate the terms and conditions may have their access terminated immediately.

    Liability

Anchorspace Potsdam is not responsible for any injury or damage to any person or property that occurs within the space. Users assume all risks associated with their use of our coworking space.

    Cancellation

Renters and members can cancel their membership with 30 days’ notice. If we can find a new renter to take their place, renters/members who cancel within a shorter time frame may receive a refund.

    COVID Protocols

We adhere to state and local masking or other safety recommendations. Mask rules will be enforced if masking is advised, and individuals not complying with health and safety guidelines will forfeit their access.

    Changes to Terms and Conditions

Anchorspace Potsdam reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will receive notification of any changes and must agree to the updated terms and conditions before continuing to use the space.
